The service was fantastic too!!!

We were in Alex City last weekend and our friends took us out to supper at Reds.. it was very delicious!! I loved those hushpuppies.. well everything and the slice of onion and a pickle spear was a nice addition to the meal! If you are in the area and can go there, I'd highly recommend it!!!

Nice day to take a Sunday drive, We found this place in a flyer "100 dishes to eat in ALA. before you Die". Was not disapointed. Will tell our friends and return again.

Every year our family from all around Northeast Alabama comes to Red's to celebrate our "Birthdays." The service is always good, and the food is always above expectations. Today was of no exception. Go to Red's it's worth the drive. See you folks again soon!

I had heard about REDS, so we took several men from our church there for a afternoon meal.....I have ate at many catfish restaurants in Alabama, Top of the River, Finchers, The Ark... take the time to drive to REDS you will not be dissappointed, its about the same money but better food and more of it. All I can say is WOW Reds lived up to the bragging the folks I work with said about them.

Visited Cragford this summer but was not aware of Reds Catfish Restaurant . I Was doing genealogy research . I Found everything I wanted in Cemetery . My Grandfather ( Noah Jordan ) is youngest brother of Dr. Charles Jordan . I searched for many years to find my roots and I found nit there . I will return and visit your establishment. Our family has been having reunions here for years and we love the food and atmosphere!! Glad to see the link to Mt. Community. Just found out we have kin buried at Bethany Cemetary so we will be back often !! Love the website.

Had a chance to visit again, and it is as good as ever and the staff is as friendly as ever.

As a Brit living in the US, it was a "first" for me! Never had a freshwater fish, or catfish before. it was well worth the journey from Birmingham to try it!! a true taste of the South!

My waitress Mary was really great. I tried to get her to come home with me. I will be back to see her soon.

I am originally from the Alex City area...and everytime I make the long 8 hour drive from NC to Alex City, I have to make time to eat at Reds. Best catfish I have ever eaten and truly worth the drive.
